Welcome to the County of Peterborough Human Resources Department.

The Human Resources (HR) Department:

  • Provides overall direction and coordination for all corporate human resources functions.
  • Provides leadership and promotion of excellence in human resource management in support of the County’s service and business objectives.
  • Acts in an advisory capacity in support of all departments in the interpretation and supervision of collective agreements, terms, conditions and legislation.
  • Is responsible for developing and recommending short, and long-term human resources plans, policies and strategies to address the organizational goals of the County.
