County Forests

The County Forest occupies a total of approximately 2,130 hectares of County owned lands within the County of Peterborough. The Forest is comprised of three separate and distinct blocks.

Principles of the County Forest Management Plan:

  2. 2. "The forestry/resource use is the primary use of the County Forest."

  4. 4. "Forestry activities and uses enhance the forest for recreational and cultural opportunities."
