Burn Ban in Effect for County of Peterborough

(Peterborough County, ON) – On Wednesday July 18, 2012 effective immediately, a Burn Ban will be in effect in all areas of Peterborough County, including Kawartha Highlands Signature Site Provincial Park and the City of Peterborough until further notice. Burn Bans are also in effect for the Counties of Haliburton and Hastings. Due to the extremely dry conditions, the members of the public are cautioned regarding the use of any and all open flame sources.
